The Azerbaijan Tourism Board (ATB) participated in the Luxury Travel Mart (LTM), held on September 26-27 in Moscow, Russia, to promote Azerbaijan’s luxury tourism offerings.

The primary objective of Azerbaijan’s participation was to showcase the country as a leading luxury tourism destination, establish new partnerships, and expand promotional efforts on a global scale.

During B2B (business-to-business) meetings with Russia’s top luxury travel specialists, tour operators, and agencies, Azerbaijani representatives provided insights into the country’s tourism potential, including ski resorts, city tours in Baku, wellness and thermal retreats, as well as business and luxury tourism experiences.

It is noteworthy that 501,417 Russian visitors traveled to Azerbaijan between January and August 2024, marking an 18% increase compared to the same period in 2023.
